The power of photography is undeniable and in this day and age we are flooded with imagery. So how can any image stand out when there are millions fighting for attention? Through emotion...for me the birthplace of my images is in my heart, I photograph the things I greatly care about and imbue those emotions into my photos. I feel small in beautiful places so I shoot looking up to exemplify grandeur, I care about the small things so I photograph the details. Natures immense and beautiful grandeur and complexities overpower my heart and so it is there that my images begin. It is my hope that the emotions that I feel when out in nature are what come through when my images are viewed.
