ABOUT US:
My name is Lorenzo Menendez, I am 26 years old and am married to a beautiful woman named Jennifer. I was born in 1980 in a small country in Central America called El Salvador. I lived there for 8 years and in 1988 my parents decided to come to the United States, and we came to California. Coming to the States was a very exciting, scary and over whelming experience. There were many challenges a long the way, but I enjoyed being able to overcome them and move forward. During my senior year of High School I joined the yearbook staff at my school and began my journey with photography. My teacher handed me my first SLR camera and taught me how to use it, ever since then I have been shooting non-stop and have enjoyed every minute of it. I continued to learn more and more by reading books, spending time with professional photographers going to workshops and of course spending all of my free time shooting pictures and learning from the things that I had done. I soon discovered that I love to shoot things in nature, whether it’s a beautiful landscape or photographing the unseen world of insects with a macro lens. More than anything I just enjoy shooting pictures of whatever comes in front of the camera in a creative way that I know will make it a unique image. To this day the journey continues, and I look forward to a new day when I can make new images to share with everyone. I currently reside in Vista California with my wife Jennifer.
